Joe is but a humble push mower. He wants nothing more than to cut his master’s lawn and make his master happy. He is simple at heart and doesn’t ask for much. Aside from pleasing his owner he likes it when his blades are sharpened and his gears and wheels are oiled. However, his owner has neglected him lately. Plus, Joe has been around for a while and mowed numerous lawns, so he is a bit outdated and rusty. Even though he is aging he tries his best for his owner because of the fact that Murray picked him out from a second hand shop even though there were numerous other newer and more advanced mowers.

Joe loves weekends because that is when he gets to come out and do what he loves to do. His favorite color is green, and he loves the smell of fresh cut grass. He hates the winter because he has to be cooped up in the garage.

Joe resembles his master both in physique and mentality. Joe is lanky and twiggy like his master. Also, like his master, Joe is scared of change and newfangled gizmos. However, unlike his master, he is not scared of change because it requires hard work and adaptation but because he does not want to be replaced and separated from his master. Joe Scmower would do whatever he could to stay with his master and keep him safe.
